Zaragoza "Tommy" Pena Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zaragoza "Tommy" Pena Jr., on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the age of 70 in Crane, Texas. Tommy was born on June 10, 1954 in Plainview, Texas to Zaragoza Pena Sr. and Aurora Fernandez - Pena. A man of many talents and a joyful spirit, Tommy lived a life full of love, laughter, and music.

Born with the soul of a musician, Tommy loved playing trombone and bass in various bands, bringing joy to those around him through music. Though he made his living in the trucking industry, music was always close to his heart, and he carried it with him wherever he went.

Tommy was known for his lighthearted personality, always ready with a joke and a smile. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-whether it was sipping a rum and Coke, indulging in his love of ice cream, or constantly chewing bubblegum. These small but significant joys were a testament to his love of life.

He lived happily, surrounded by family and friends, leaving behind fond memories and melodies that will forever resonate with those who knew him.
