Willie Joe Brown

Willie Joe Brown, age 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 27, 2024. Willie was born to Ernest Edward Brown and Doris Brown on November 7, 1958 in Midland, Texas.

Born and raised in Midland, Willie was known for his warm humor and gift for bringing laughter wherever he went. He was a mechanic for over 30 years and was known to get anything running again, no matter how old. He also worked for the city of Midland for many years.

Willie had a deep love for his partner Joyce. He loved to eat and there wasn't a meal he wouldn't enjoy. Anything that the family hunted and killed, they ate. An avid fisherman, he cherished time by the water, casting a line with friends and family.

Willie is now rejoined in heaven with his parents, Ernest Edward Brown and Dorris Brown; and his sister, Dora Lee Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Anthony Joe Brown and William Joe Brown, Jr.; his partner Joyce; brothers, Darnell Brown, Billie Brown, and Tommie Brown; baby sister, Missey Brown; his loving Uncle Joseph Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona, and his uncle Kitt Nelson of Midland, Texas. He also leaves behind a host of nurturing and cherished siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Willie's memory will live on in their hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
