Versie Mae Graves

Ms. Versie Mae Graves our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother departed this life on December 28,2023 to be with our Heavenly Father. She was born to George and Bennie M. Cook on February 28, 1936, in Kosse Texas.

Versie grew up in Koss, Texas attending public school. She was residing in Austin, Texas. Prior to that she resided in Midland, Texas and was a member of Holy Trinity Church. She loved knitting, growing African Violets, and participated in an African Violet Club. She worked as a sitter for the Elderly and was a Foster Grandparent.

Versie was preceded in death by husband, William Graves, parents George & Bennie M. Cook, brother Sammy L Cook, daughter Mary E. Graves, Shelia S. Graves, grandson Michael J. Graves.

She leaves to mourn her passing son, Billy C. Graves (Mary) Round Rock, Texas, Betty V. Graves, Margaret E Gray, granddaughter, Summer D. Straker of Midland, Texas, nephew, Gary W. Cook Houston TX, niece, Carolyn Graves of Midland TX, and a host of relatives and friends.
