Ruben Porras Hernandez

Ruben Porras Hernandez, 37, of Midland, TX, passed away on June 2, 2023 at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Ruben was born on March 23, 1986, in Midland to Eleazar Estrada Hernandez and Guadalupe Porras Hernandez.

He graduated from Lee High School in 2004 and had a career painting houses and working in the oil field. He was a hard worker and prided himself on always doing a good job.

Ruben loved spending time with his family. He was an entertainer and would often show off his breakdancing moves, including how to do the worm! He enjoyed barbecuing outside with his family and watching the kids have fun; as well as driving his low-rider.

Ruben is survived by his mother and father, his beloved children; Brisa Hernandez, Ruben Jr. Hernandez, Alexandrea Hernandez, Esmeri Hernandez. He is also survived by his siblings Eleazar Jr. Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, and Marybell Lerma, and many other loved family members.

Ruben will be remembered for his friendly nature and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
