Rodney Dale Johnson

Rodney Dale Johnson, age 70, of Midland, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.

Rodney was born September 09, 1953 in Odessa, Texas, a son of Runnie Johnson and Dorothy Mae Livingston Johnson. He married the love of his life, Shirley Shaw on June 26, 1984 in Odessa Texas. Rodney was a hard worker and loved truck driving. That was his passion. Rodney enjoyed working with youth and at one time worked at a boys home as a counselor. He also loved to cook and bbq for the family, watch football and westerns, and play spades. He also coached youth football and absolutely adored his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mayberry Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11am.. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
