Raymond Rodriguez was born August 21,1953 in Garden City, Kansas and passed away on March 26, 2025 in Midland, Texas, at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his father "Lalo", mother "Blossie" and brothers Johnny Encinias, Richard Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, and Robert Rodriguez. Left to cherish his memory is brother Adelaido "Larry" Rodriguez, and sisters, Ida Fernandez, Irene Flores ,and Blossie Love; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was more than just a family member to those who knew him. He was a man full of kindness, love and joy. Truly a man whose presence was a blessing to us all and who will be greatly missed. Raymond had a big heart and was always happy to be around family. His sister Ida will remember the times he would cook for her. His brother Larry will miss playing cards with him and Blossie loves and misses him. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his sister Irene and going to Bingo.
He was a collector of many found treasures and was always collecting things and giving all of us gifts. He enjoyed rock music and could listen to La Puerta Negra over and over. We will miss having him around. Raymond was a funny, outgoing, cheerful man who easily made friends. He always managed to get a smile out of us, whether it was with one of the many funny things he would say or who can forget "Quieres Candy?". He used to sing a beautiful worship song and has now gone away to meet his maker. We hope he is singing in the choir.
