February 25, 2023 Jeannie Printz, 79, passed away on February 25th, 2023, surrounded by family, in Midland at her home. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10th from 2 - 4 p.m. at First Methodist Church, located at 300 N Main Street, Midland, TX. Jeannie was born on August 4th, 1943 in Sidney, Nebraska. She met Gene Printz on a blind date in June 1960 and they married in September 1960. They built a beautiful life together with their children, Victoria and David, and then settled in West Texas in 1970. Jeannie enjoyed raising her children and later a granddaughter, Jamie, and had a wonderful career in real estate including building a successful property management company. She was a tremendously giving and loving person and loved everyone unconditionally. Playing Canasta and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was a priority to Jeannie. Feeding the turtles and birds on her patio brought her so much joy. In her later years, Jeannie enjoyed volunteering at the Friends of Library book store with her young great grandsons, Alvin and Alex. Jeannie will be missed by many dear friends and family. If you knew Jeannie, she considered you family. Jeannie is survived by her husband, Gene Printz, daughter Victoria Printz, son David Printz, daughter Cami Davis, granddaughter Jamie Kite (Dustin Kite) and their children, Alvin, Alexander and Austin, grandson Tyler Printz (Esmeralda Printz) and their children, Tyler Junior, Jeannie and Ezekiel, granddaughter Ashlyn Permenter (Brayden Permenter), Hannah Davis and Gavin Davis. She is preceded in death by her mother Ella Gerke and great-grandson Ledger Permenter. Jeannie will also be missed by siblings, many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Prayers for the family at this time are appreciated. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to Friends of Libraries and Literacy (FOLL) 2305 W Michigan Ave, Midland, TX 79701.Services are entrusted to the care of Mayberry Funeral Home
