LaVinya Ann Marche' Coleman (Vinnie) was born November 19, 1974 in Odessa, Texas, to Charlotte Williams and Edward Booker, stepfather Morris Williams. Vinnie was the oldest of five girls - The 5 Heartbeats. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family.

She attended Nimitz Jr. High School and Permian Senior High School. She received her GED and Culinary Certification while attending Job Corps of McKinney, Texas. Vinnie lived her early adulthood between Denton and Dallas, Texas. She worked as an immigration analyst, as well as a bartender. She returned to Midland in 2012, where she resided until her death. She served as Head Chef at The Hilton of Midland, until could no longer work.

Vinnie accepted Christ at an early age and never stopped serving the Lord. She was a member of Inner City Tabernacle of Life Ministry, where she faithfully served on many auxiliaries. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice with a soul to match. She would sing anytime and anyplace. Vinnie loved to cook, as her family loved to eat! She also had a love for crocheting, writing, painting ceramics, and being around family and friends.

Vinnie transitioned on March 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eladah Marche' Morris; father, Edward Booker, grandfathers, Charlie Coleman, Earl Booker, and Roy McCoy; great-grandmother, Ethel Thompson; grandmothers, Florence Stafford, Frances Booker, and Elnora McCoy.

She leaves to cherish her legacy of love her daughter, Terranee Johnson of Dallas; son, Omari Coleman of Midland; mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Morris Williams of Midland; sisters, Kathy Stewart of Arlington, Shawna' Coleman of Cuba, Monna' Coleman of Austin, Charmorri Spraglin of Odessa, Chautaqua Taylor, and Brandee Williams of Midland; brothers, Morris Williams Jr. of Midland, Jody Gates of Odessa, and Robert Lathan of Dallas. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved so much.

A special thanks to Texas Oncology & Midland Memorial Hospital Valet Department. She was always greeted with a smile, hope, and love!
