Kathleen Jackson

Kathleen Jackson went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2025. Kathleen was born on October 19, 1958, to Corine Coleman Sims and Herman Green in Slaton, Texas.

Kathleen was a woman full of life, laughter, and a touch of diva spirit. She had a deep love for fashion, shopping, and always carried herself with grace and style. A hardworking and dedicated woman, Kathleen devoted nearly 20 years to Peppermint Plantation Daycare, where she nurtured and adored countless children. She had a natural gift for making others feel special and loved, and her presence brightened every room she entered. More than anything, Kathleen cherished her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She found her greatest joy in spending time with them, creating memories filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Family gatherings were where she truly shined, bringing joy to those around her. Kathleen will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Kathleen is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Clifford Butler; parents, Corine Coleman Sims and Herman Green; siblings, Doris Cephus and Ruby Houston.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Marcus Butler, Destiny Butler, Kathy Jackson, and Billy Jackson; siblings Cora Sims, RL Green, and James Green; grandchildren DJ Jackson, Deserae Butler, Dezarian Butler, Desmon Jackson, Nyomee Butler, Marced Butler, and Marcus Butler; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
