Johnnie Lee Rogers, 58, passed away March 13, 2023, at his home in Midland, Texas.

He is survived by his children, Jeffery Lenard of Midland, Johnnie Lenard of Midland, Tazjanee Wooden of Midland, Nunnie Wooden of Midland, Amirion Wooden of Midland, Angell Hill, Yshaun Wooden, and Ieshia Petterson; 25 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews. He also is survived by brothers, Tim Rogers and Leroy Hill Sanders; and sister, Regina Cobb, all of Midland.

Johnnie was preceded in death by Beatrice Rogers, Geneva and Leroy Rogers, Sr., Joyce Ann Sanders, and Princess Wooden.

A Midland native, Johnnie enjoyed life with his family and friends. He loved playing dominoes and cheering for the Denver Broncos. Johnnie took pride in being an active father and loved spending time with his children and other loved ones.

A visitation/wake will be held 6-8 pm Friday, March 17, 2023, at Mayberry Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, located at 303 E. Shandon Ave, Midland, TX.

Services are entrusted to the care of Mayberry Funeral Home.
