George Ratliff Jr.

George Ratliff, Jr., 84 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born September 25, 1940 in Midland, TX to father George Ratliff, Sr. and mother Buelah Spurling.

George was a lifelong Midlander having attended Carver Junior/Senior High School. He was preceded in death by his father George Ratliff Sr, his mother Buelah Spurling, his two brothers Samuel and Roy Ratliff, and his eldest son George Dewayne Ratliff.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Frances Ratliff, his siblings Deborah Williams (Frank) and Ella Jean Robertson (Ocie), children Jacqueline Shelby (Timothy), Victor Ratliff (Trina), Donna Berry (Darius) and Courtney Ratliff, and eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank his many friends who continue to show their love and support. Arrangements are under the direction of Mayberry Funeral Home in Midland.
