George Butler Jr., went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025. George was born on May 26, 1947, to Helen Toliver and George Butler Sr. in Temple, Texas.

George Butler Jr. was a hardworking man who found joy in both his labor and his leisure. He had a love for technology, spending hours on his laptop, often on the porch enjoying the fresh air.

Above all, George cherished his family. He adored his beloved wife, "Pookie," and visited her regularly, ensuring she always felt his love and devotion. His faithful companion, Gizmo, was never far from his side, bringing him comfort and joy every day.

George's presence will be deeply missed, but his love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

George is now reunited in heaven with his parents, brother, and sister.

Left to cherish are his loving wife of 19 years, Jurline Butler; 2 stepchildren Melissa (Carton) Hart Johnson and Garfield (Estella) Hart; 3 brothers Nolan Marshall of Gatesville, Texas, Raymond Toliver of San Diego, California, Bishop Aaron Toliver of Temper Texas; and sister Marie Butler or Temper Texas.
