David Mayfield

David Mayfield was born in Nocona, Texas on December 8, 1965, to the late Kenneth and Louise Mayfield. He passed away June 28, 2023, in Midland, Texas though Mooreland, Oklahoma was the place he called home. He is survived by his daughter Monica (Martin) Villarreal, His son, Levi Mayfield (Brittany). Additionally, he is survived by his Grandchildren Aden Hernandez, Miken Villarreal, Espn Villarreal, Kendel Mayfield and Jackie Villarreal. David also leaves behind many cousins, as well as his beloved aunts. Waiting for him in Heaven when he arrived were his parents: Kenneth and Louise Mayfield, his grandparents: Clarence 'Pa' and Frances 'Granny' Taylor, 'Granny' Dolly and 'Pa' Bob Mayfield, and Grandson Mays Villarreal. David had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone. A generous man, David would do absolutely anything for those whom he loved. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David was a proud grandfather and often enjoyed traveling to watch and cheer on his grandchildren during their events. He always looked forward to the summer, when all his grandchildren would come to visit his homestead. Fishing, hunting, working and making memories his family would hold onto forever were his favorite things to do. After a long day of being outdoors, David enjoyed playing Wahoo with all his loved ones many occasions late into the evening. David was proud of his career in the oilfield and loved to talk about work. As much as he loved work, he loved his diet Dr Pepper! He leaves behind a legacy that will last forever for those who cherish his memory. David will be remembered and missed forever by those who love him most
